Is there a job interview involved?
Yes, students applying for an articling position at KPA Lawyers must attend a job interview in person at our office.
Are there any eligibility criteria?
Yes, students must meet the following requirements to be considered for an articling position at KPA Lawyers:
Be currently enrolled in or have completed an accredited LLB or JD program in Canada; and
Be properly registered with the Law Society of Ontario's articling process.
Are there any language requirements?
Articling students must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Does KPA pay articling students?
Yes, we do! Articling students are compensated on a semi-monthly salary (twice per month) plus miscellaneous expenses.

Are articling students considered for rehire after their terms?
We occasionally do recruit for first-year associate positions from our pool of articling students, but this is rare.
